The Okiep Country Hotel was like stumbling upon a hidden paradise in the middle of nowhere. It's mind-blowing to find such a top-notch hotel in a small mining town! The rooms were super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for our short stay. The chef deserves a standing ovation for preparing delicious meals, especially catering to my wife's gluten and lactose intolerance. The historical setting of the hotel adds a unique touch, with informative information about the town's past. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went the extra mile to ensure our stay was amazing. The spacious and comfortable room, along with the high-quality bed, linen, and towels, made us feel pampered. The location was perfect for exploring the region, and we could easily find the hotel. Although we didn't try the breakfast, we heard it was jaw-droppingly fantastic. The staff's attitude was first-class, and their helpfulness was truly appreciated. With all the amenities like free wi-fi, free parking, 24-hour reception, bar/lounge area, outdoor dining area. We would highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable experience.

It was a such wonderful stay on a business trip. Loved the room with large newly refurbished bathroom, my bed was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel was placed in the central location almost in the centre of town. No complaints, the venue met all requests👍

We were moved to a house with a large bathroom and microwave, for example. This hotel was located in a central area really close to Northern Cape, a restaurant with such good food and the copper mining museum...

The old-fashioned hotel was comfortable. The property location was favourable in the center. Moreover, it was adjacent to the centre as well as the Cape.

During my recent business trip to Okiep, I had the pleasure of staying at Country Hotel, which was chosen by my director. One of the standout features of this hotel is the remarkable steam pump engine on display. It's fascinating to know that this pump house is the last of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, adding a unique historical touch to the entire establishment.

No fault of the establishment, there seems to be a local community problem with out of control racing and revving of cars at night.

It was in a comfy location close to the surrounding areas, including the Namaqua National Park, the Northern Cape and South Africa. Furthermore, almost in the centre of town.

I really enjoyed this lovely place, stayed there for 1 night. The atmosphere created was family. Had wonderful room with a separate bedroom for the kids and wake-up service was available in it. The venue was in a central location short walk to the surrounding areas, including the Namaqua National Park, the center and a desert. I had a SUCH GREAT stay.

I'm glad that getting Wheelchair Accessible room with a large bathroom and TVs, for instance was not a problem.

The place was fairly clean with nice staff members. The location offered was great right by the copper mining museum as well as a restaurant with such good food. Food was appetising and I have nothing but awesome memories from this trip.

Friendly staff, delicious food, and a fun welcome drink. The room with separate beds was comfy and the kitchen felt like a country retreat. The bar and common areas were clean and cozy, especially with the fireplace.

Oh, there's absolutely nothing not to like. Just perfect.

our recent stay in okiep was amazing, but country took it to another level. the food was incredible, especially the lamb, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. the family room with a separate bedroom for the kids was a great touch.
